HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY BUBBY!

Two years ago, my nephew, Alexander (aka Bubby) was born! I feel like it was just yesterday that Mike & I had just sat down to dinner when we got a phone call saying that Elyse had to go into an emergency c-section. We literally dropped everything & drove straight to the hospital!

When we arrived Elyse had already been taken into surgery, and about 10 minutes later Bubby had arrived!! Since Alexander was born 5 weeks early they had to do TONS of tests on him & none of us got to even hold him the night he was born. Elyse & Big Alex didn't even get to see and hold their new baby until 2 o'clock in the morning!

The next day we all got to the hospital as soon as possible to meet the new little man in our lives!

Best moment EVER!

The past two years have been the best years EVER. Bubby has filled our lives with so much JOY! I never knew how much I would love being an aunt. It is the best feeling ever!

Alexander- You mean the world to Aunt Sissy! You are such a blessing in mine (& Uncle Mike's) life. Thank you for bringing so much joy into our family! I can't believe that you are 2!! You seriously are the cutest little boy EVER! I wish I could keep you at this age because you are sooo much fun! I love the cute things you say and do. And I absolutely ADORE being your aunt! Happy 2nd Birthday Bubby! I love you SOOOOOOOO much!!

Exciting News!!!

I am really excited to tell you all that Mike & I have booked our Summer vacation!! Thanks to the suggestion of Abby (go check her blog out here) we will be traveling to Secrets Silver Sands Rivera Cancun Resort!!

We will be celebrating our 2nd Anniversary & my graduation & I absolutely can not WAIT!!!!!

Study, Study, Study

Today as I was studying for a major exam I have tomorrow, I looked out the window & saw this box sitting on my front porch!!!!

I love Sephora & make up in general so of course I stopped studying & ran outside to my newest additions to my make up family!!!! Here they are:

I am such a girly girl & have always adored make up. I am attached to Sephora because with every order they give you 3 FREE samples (this time I got two perfume samples & an eye cream sample)!! In addition to my 3 free samples they were also doing a Beauty Insider Reward which means I got a free Bare Minerals Matte powder, primer & brush!! I am one happy girl today!!

Back to studying I go! ... Only 7 more weeks of school!!!!!!!!

Teen Mom 2

Did you guys watch the season finale of Teen Mom 2?? ...OH MY GOODNESS!!! ... What a tear jerker!!

Leah & Corey break my heart! Why doesn't someone give them good advise & tell them to go to counseling?! So so sad!

... In other news.. not much going on this week, just school & work. Only 32 more days left of school & 87 until I GRADUATE!!!!

Valentine's Day!

Mike & I celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday, due to our busy schedules! I made spaghetti & turkey meatballs for dinner & we had my grandma's poppy seed salad, bread & brownies for dessert!

Mike wanted Amino pills (BORING) for Valentine's Day. He also got black undershirts that he needed for work!

My gifts: The sweetest card ever, candy, Breaking Dawn(!!!!!) and a free back rub coupon that Mike made! So sweet!

We had a great Valentine's Day! Hope you all get spoiled & feel loved tomorrow (and EVERY day)!!!

Today I got to spend the afternoon with my favorite little man: BUBBY!!

His 2nd birthday is coming up and when I asked him what he wanted for his birthday he responded, "CAKE!!!" That boy is smart!

Super Bowl!

Today we had a Super Bowl party at the Harrington household! We celebrated the game day with a TON of food. I tried out two new recipes tonight; Skinny Mozzarella Cheese Sticks & homemade Beer (I used 7-up) Bread! They both turned out AMAZING!!

We also had chips & salsa, a veggie tray, Alex's homemade pizza & brownie for dessert!! Here is the entire spread (minus the pizza & brownies)!

This little man enjoyed all the food & probably ate as much as we did!

We had a great evening spending time with Elyse, Alex & Bubby! We all ate WAY too much but it was a blast! Too bad the 49er's weren't playing in the Super Bowl, but I was glad to see the Giants win!

... In other news.. Toby went to the groomers Friday afternoon for a much needed bath. He came home with this on:

They have never put a bandana on him before, but I thought it was adorable. He still has it on too!
